Thorne Harbour Health's Peer Education Program offers free social and educational workshops for LGBTIQASB+ people aged 18+.

These workshops provide a confidential and welcoming environment for participants to connect, and engage in a shared learning experience.

What kind of workshop experience are you looking for? (select all that apply)

A structured workshop: Includes guided activities, facilitated discussions, with a focus on specific topics like sexual health and wellbeing, HIV, identity, coming out, relationships, stigma, self-esteem, etc. A social space: a relaxed, informal environment just to meet and connect with others in the community, have a chat, and just enjoy some time together with peers. If there's anything that would help you participate fully please let us know here so we can better support. Some examples of access support may include: Auslan interpretation, live captions, interpreting for a language other than English, mobility requirements, appropirate facilities for cultural or religious observances such as prayer, sensory-friendly environments, etc.
